An absolutely stunning antique brooch modelled as a four string Domra. The almond-shaped body is bordered with rose cut diamonds, and set with natural pearls and rubies - with delicate blue enamel detailing. With a diamond-set strap and further diamond and rubies at the headstock, it's a beautifully crafted piece likely of Russian origin. 

The domra is a long-necked Russian, Belarusian and Ukrainian folk string instrument of the lute family with a round body and three or four metal strings.
